Booking 

It is required you are already in the care of a Registered Midwife who has admitting privileges to Arbour Birth Center. All clients of midwives who are interested in Arbour Birth Center are welcome to book an appointment to view the center prior to booking. Please e-mail arbourinfo@shaw.ca, phone 403-284-5950 or complete and submit the form below.

There are 3 forms to complete to book Arbour Birth Center which will be e-mailed to families on request or may be picked up/ completed when families visit the birth center.

The total Fee for Arbour Birth Center is $550.00 plus $27.50 GST, total of $577.50 The total fee is divided into 2 portions:

1. Non-refundable Booking Fee of $78.75 (including GST) due at the time of booking. There will be an increase to $100.00 (including GST) for 2027 clients.

2. Facility (or user) fee of $498.75 (including GST), decreasing to $477.50 for 2027 which is refunded if you do not use a birth suite for any time of your labour or birth, due by the end of your 36th week of pregnancy

For 2027 the total fee is remaining at $577.50. The non-refundable portion is increasing to offset the cost of purchasing certain medications and supplies in preparation for the family using the center. The refundable portion will be a little less.

Payments are accepted by e-transfer, personal cheque or cash. Arbour Birth Center does not accept credit cards or debit as the expense is high for our just recover cost to provide this birth location option.
