The Arbour Birth Center is a home-like facility located in Calgary, Alberta specifically designed & equipped as a safe and comfortable place for women & their families to give birth when attended by their registered midwife.
The birth center provides a space for care that is mother- and family-centred, where pregnancy and birth are considered normal processes- not illnesses. With 3 suites Arbour Birth Center is equipped for over 30 births a month.

Within the Birth Center there are three birthing suites, a kitchen for the preparation of provided snacks or light meals you may bring with you, and a comfortable living room area for waiting family and friends and toys to entertain the little ones. The birthing rooms are each furnished as master suites with ensuite bathrooms that feature large tubs for use during labour and birth. The equipment needed for a normal labour and birth are stored in the suite closets.
The mother chooses from the available suites when she arrives at the birth center in labour. Details under the heading Rooms.
